About Us

Our core personnel
Suzanne Young
Suzanne is an accomplished Project Manager with an international career spanning 25 years. She became chartered within the first 12 months of chartership being available and completed a Masters degree in Project Management in 2017.
Suzanne is known for her pragmatic and down to earth approach when it comes to processes, project management and people development. She is passionate about bridging the gap between formal project management qualifications and those ‘softer’ skills which are the ones which really get the job moving when it reaches a sticky bit!
Suzanne founded Riverley (originally Riverley Project Management) ltd in January 2020 in response to working in environments unsupportive of project delivery. Her mission is to make work easier and therefore more enjoyable.
When not working you will find Suzanne volunteering at Kettering Parkrun, sewing handbags, volunteering at the repair cafe or at her local Toastmasters branch; NNClearspeakers

Richard Young
Richard is passionate about public service, he has 30 years experience in the NHS and is an Alderman of Sandwell having served as a local councillor.
Richard’s stakeholder engagement skills are second to none, he has a coaching, supportive style and is able to elicit information from stakeholders in order to design policies and processes which they support. Most recently, he led joint commissioning work spanning mental health and children’s services, including ADHD service redesign and CAMHS recommissioning. This involved working closely with clinicians, local authorities and providers
His career includes senior strategy roles in NHS providers, executive commissioning roles in North Lincolnshire and Wolverhampton, and leadership of key delivery programmes – including Better Care Fund.
He has developed organisational strategies, strengthened governance and investment appraisal, and led programmes connecting health and social care throughout his career.
Richard spends his spare time supporting Aston Villa football team, gardening, reminiscing about 80’s pop music and reading Terry Pratchett.
And our namesakes
How do you name a business? Well we wanted to call it something precious to us and so we smashed together the names of our two dogs, River and Ripley.
They are a mistake of breeds; Dad was a German Shepherd and Mum was a Rottweiller. Their temperaments are brilliant and they are the poster dogs for “time spent training is time well spent”.
